CKAN (Comprehensive Kerbal Archive Network) 1.36.4 is installed on the CachyOS box as the pacman-tracked package ckan-bin (AUR, built with makepkg + pkexec pacman -U), running under mono with the gtk2 theming dependency added. KSP 1.12.5.3190 is installed via Steam on the external drive at /run/media/unixuser/External/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Kerbal Space Program and is auto-detected as CKAN’s game instance. Launch with ckan (GUI), ckan consoleui, or the app-menu entry. First GUI launch can sit on “Loading registry…” for a while while it parses the ~36 MB metadata cache; ckan update --headless is the quick way to refresh metadata from the CLI.
